Dammit, headphones! D:
Stop being static-y and otherwise failures. :/

Also? Homework. Because I have only 3% to go before I never have to take this class ever ever again. :]

During which phase of a thunderstorm does rain begin to fall?
The mature stage.

When is a tornado most likely to develop during a thunderstorm?
The mature stage. Again.

What is the Fujita scale used for?
It ranks the intensity of a thunderstorm.

Describe the formation of a tornado.
Tornadoes are high-speed rotating winds that extend downward from thunderclouds. Tornadoes form along the front between air masses with distinctly different temperature and moisture characteristics on either side of the front. Cold, dry air is very dense and sinks. As cold air encounters warm, moist, rising hair from the south, the warm air is forced to rise faster. As warm air rises, it may begin to spin, potentially becoming a strong, rotating thunderstorm that can spawn a tornado.

Proximity to water is one topographic feature that can and often does moderate the climate of a region. What is another topographic feature that affects a region’s climate?
Mountains are topographic features that have a profound effect on the climate of a region.

In the northern hemisphere, the warmest months of the year are June, July, and August. During what season is Earth closest to the sun?
Earth is closest to the sun during the winter season in the Northern Hemisphere.

Earth’s location within its orbit is not solely responsible for the seasons. What is a contributing factor to the reason for the seasons?
Earth’s tilt also affects the seasons.

How are climate and weather related?
The average weather of a region describes that region’s climate.

Does a front always mean one air mass will be displaced by another? When is there no displacement?
A stationary front occurs when two air masses meet but neither is displaced.

How can you tell a cold front is approaching?
Cumulonimbus clouds characterize an advancing cold front.

What happens to a warm air mass as it moves into an area occupied by a cold air mass?
In a warm front, a warm air mass moves above a slower cold air mass. This cool air mass cools the warm air, causing the formation of clouds and precipitation.

What are the general atmospheric conditions behind a cold front?
The air behind a cold front is cool and dry.

What changes can be expected with the passage of a weather front?
When a front moves through an area, the result is usually precipitation and a change in wind direction and temperature.

And also, what would one get if one crossed The Office with Revolutionary Girl Utena? Or The Office with DCU, for that matter? Who would play Dwight? [asdflkjds;fkl for Utena -- Saionji, obviously. And Utena and Anthy would be Jim and Pam, respectively. :D]
